Petzold GmbH Gas Plant Construction has been realizing safe, economical, and standards-compliant gas supply systems for energy suppliers, municipal utilities, network operators, and industrial companies since 1990. As one of the first companies to establish itself after German reunification, we combine state-of-the-art technology with decades of experience in the planning, manufacturing, and construction of gas pressure regulating and supply systems.
As early as 1991, we were one of the first companies in the former East Germany to receive DVGW approval G 493 I for gas pressure regulating and supply systems up to 100 bar. This certification underscores our high level of expertise and our unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and reliability.
Clear Specialization for Maximum Safety
With increasing project size and rising technical requirements, a strategic realignment took place in 1992. Since then, two specialized companies have been working closely together, covering all requirements in the field of gas plant construction and service:
Gas-Anlagenbau Petzold GmbH – Planning, manufacturing, and installation of gas pressure regulating stations, gas supply systems, and large transfer stations
GRL – Gasanlagen & Regelungstechnik Ludwigsfelde GbR – Maintenance, servicing, repair, and overhaul of gas plants (DVGW approval G 493 II since 1998)
This clear division of responsibilities ensures efficient project processes, the highest safety standards, and consistently high-quality workmanship – from new construction and expansions to complex modernization projects.
